History of Math
Parvari is a newly settled suburb on the north bank of the river Mandovi, the new project of the Goa Legislative Assembly is in this suburb. It was very hard to get a place in Panjim to make a new branch. From that point of view, Shrimad Vidyadhiraja Teertha Swamiji decided to build a new Shakha Math (Branch) at Parvarim to provide social and cultural centre not only to the people of Panaji but also to other GSB communities from Panaji to Dicholi. The inauguration of that spectacular building took place on 18th November 2000 at the Holy hands of Shri Vidyadhiraj Teertha Swamiji. Located on the Panaji-Mumbai highway, this building added splendour to the Math.
